Support access by approval

When someone at Fóir needs to look inside your workspace to help you, they ask first, and one of your administrators approves it.

How a request works

The member of staff writes down why they need access. Every administrator of the workspace is emailed that reason, the person's name and a six-digit code. Access begins only when an administrator hands the code over, and it ends 60 minutes later.

A request that nobody answers lapses after an hour and grants nothing. An administrator can also deny it, and a denial is final.

What approval gives, and what it does not

An approved visit lets our staff reach the workspace. It adds no permissions of its own, and it can be limited to one project or one organisation. The grant is checked again on every request, so it stops working the moment it expires, even in the middle of a session.

What is recorded

Requests, approvals and denials are written to the workspace's audit trail, which your administrators can read. An approval and its audit entry are committed together, so neither exists without the other.
