Hand a thread to Fóir
On a note thread in the console, Hand to Fóir starts one unattended run of the assistant. It reads the project and answers on the thread.
Handing off
A thread has two buttons beside its owner, due date and progress. Ask about this opens the assistant and works the thread with you, in your session. Hand to Fóir dispatches a run that answers on the thread later. Only a signed-in team member can hand off. The assistant is never the assignee of a task.
What a run can do
A run can read the project, reply on the thread, open sub-notes, ask you a question by mentioning you, and request approval to settle the note. It cannot create, update, publish or delete records, and it cannot settle, reopen, delete or reassign notes. That set of tools is fixed in code. A request to settle waits until someone with the required permission approves or denies it.
Under your sign-in
The run acts under your sign-in, can never exceed your permissions, and stops if you sign out. Each hand-off is one short run with a cap on its steps and tool calls. It is never retried automatically, because a second attempt would act twice. There is no cancel and no progress bar. When it finishes, the button reads Ask Fóir again, which starts a new run on the thread as it now stands.
What comes back
The run answers in exactly one of three ways: a reply saying what it did, a question addressed to you, or an approval request. A run that fails is reported on the thread too. Each run checks the workspace's AI-credit balance first and is refused when it is empty.
