Feedback from your users
A signed-in user of your application can write a note about a record. It reaches your team attached to that record, as a note like any other.
Notes from signed-in users
The API gives a signed-in user createMyNote to write a note and myNotes to read their own. They also read the replies your team chose to send them. The docs call these users customers.
Filed against the record
A note names the record itself, by model and record id. It stays attached when your routes change or a page is redesigned, and a record served in several locales collects its feedback in one place.
The feedback widget
<FoirFeedback> is a drop-in React component in the SDK. It files a note against the record the page rendered, and screenshots from the visitor are optional.
What a user sees of your team's work
Your team can assign a user's note and work it as a task. The note the user reads back carries no assignee and no progress counts, only whether it was resolved.
Visitors with no account
A project can opt in to notes from visitors who have not signed in. That route is write-only, so a visitor can send a note and read nothing back, and it is rate-limited.

That section of the notes guide covers the queries, the widget, screenshots, and the scopes and role a user needs.
